TV5’s ‘Sine Ko 5ingko’ Presents ‘King Kong’ and ‘Godzilla’ this Weekend

TV5 kicks off the new month with an even bigger line up of Hollywood blockbusters for the whole family with Sine Ko 5ingko. Filipino viewers will get to sit back and enjoy a string of hit films every day! Sine Ko 5ingko opens with a double monster feature this weekend, with King Kong on Saturday at 2:30PM and Godzilla on Sunday at 8:30PM.

This Saturday (March 9), watch as King Kong tells the story of an ambitious movie producer (Jack Black) who forces his cast to travel of a mysterious island. There, they encounter a giant ape that is immediately drawn to the film’s leading lady (Naomi Watts). Will the beauty tame the beast in this epic adventure? In the meantime, join Dr. Nick Tatopoulos (Matthew Broderick) as he attempts to stop a mutated lizard wreaking havoc on the streets of Manhattan on Godzilla on March 10 (Sunday).

These weekend’s features aren’t the only big Hollywood movies that Filipino TV viewers can look forward to on Sine Ko 5ingko. On weekdays, they can catch movies at 3:30PM and 8:00 PM. Two of the movies to watch this month are The Grown Ups and You Don’t Mess with the Zohan, which will both air on Philippine free TV first on TV5. They can also look forward to the Liam Neeson starrer Taken and Dennis Rodman’s launching movie Simon Sez. Also not to be missed are the localized versions of Sherlock Holmes, Cirque du Freak: The Vampire’s Assistant, and Journey to the Center of the Earth.

Sine Ko 5ingko’s double weekend features also make staying at home with the family more worthwhile. On Saturdays, they can catch films like Charlie’s Angels, Constantine and Ultraviolet at 2:30PM and 4:30PM. Come Family Day Sunday, viewers can look forward three times the fun with animated favorites Madagascar and Monster House and action flicks Hancock and Hellboy: The Golden Army at 1:00PM, 2:45 PM and 8:00PM. Viewers can also look forward to the Philippine free TV premiere of Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs on Easter Sunday.

Pinoy movie fanatics can finally catch recent Hollywood hits for free on local TV. Expect a sizzling summer as Sine Ko 5ingko’s awesome lineup of blockbusters makes staying in more exciting and entertaining for the entire family.
