‘Bistado’ Exposes a Company Deceiving Job Seekers

Broadcast journalist Julius Babao investigates a company that swindles money from unknowing job seekers in “Pinoy True Stories: Bistado” this Monday (Mar 18).

The said company requires its applicants to sell some of its products, which are home appliances before they get hired. However, the company reportedly refuses to hire the applicants even after they have reached the sales quota required to get the job.

“Theresa,” one of the victims, sought help from “Bistado.” She said she left Mabate to try her luck and seek a job in Manila in hopes of earning money to support her father’s medical bills.
