After Thursday's Detroit-themed performance night, the three remaining guys on 'Idol' were put by America to the chopping block.

Devin Velez, Burnell Taylor and Lazaro Arbos comprised the bottom 3 during the results show of American Idol on Friday (Manila time) with Velez receiving the lowest number of votes.

He sang Perry Como‘s “It’s Impossible” in both English and Spanish on his bid to be saved by the judges. Velez received standing ovation from Randy Jackson, Keith Urban and the teary-eyed Mariah Carey, however, the said judges did not use their “save” power on the Spanish-speaking contestant.
