Time passes by unnoticed especially when you're running a popular show like TV5's "Face to Face." Dubbed as the first "barangay hall on-air," the show enters its fourth year with must-watch week-long anniversary episodes running next week (April 8 to 12) on its new 4:30pm timeslot.

When the pioneering talak-serye started airing three years ago, TV5 pitted the fledgling program against strong competition in the morning timeslot. Since then, Face to Face has become one of the most-watched and controversial daytime programs on Philippine TV.

Starting Monday (April 8), Face to Face will showcase a series of special episodes that feature the next talk-of-the-town stories, major confrontations and tear-jerking revelations-all in one week.

Now on its fourth year and back to its 4:30pm timeslot, Face to Face continues to mirror domestic and communal conflicts of Filipinos, and tries to resolve every single dispute by pinning down the root cause of the problem–an equity it has lived up to over 800 episodes it has so far produced.

Outgoing host Ateng Gelli De Belen will grace a few of the anniversary episodes before she turns over the “Pambansang Kapitana” throne to the show’s original host, Tyang Amy Perez. It could be remembered that Ateng Gelli pinched hit for Tyang Amy when the latter had to take a break last July to attend to a delicate pregnancy. True to the show’s thrust, the overwhelming popularity of Face to Face among the masses has brought the two “Pambansang Kapitanas” closer to its loyal viewers.

Benedicto Acosta, Jr., legal experts; Fr. Sonny Merida, spiritual adviser; and Dr. Camille Caces-Garcia, resident psychologist sharing their expertise to infuse reason amidst warring parties.

Don’t miss the most intriguing anniversary episodes of Face to Face starting this Monday (April 8), 4:30pm on TV5.
