Sef Cadayona brought home the award for Breakthrough Performance by an Actor in his 2012 indie movie Gayak. Sef, who is one of GMA-7’s home-grown talents, is part of the Sayaw Pilipinas crew of Party Pilipinas, Bubble Gang, and in the family sitcom Vampire Ang Daddy Ko.

GMA Network’s creative director for drama Jun Lana brought home three of the major awards including Best Director, Best Story and Best Original Screenplay for his 2012 indie film Bwakaw. Written and directed by Lana, Bwakaw has received worldwide critical acclaim at major international film festivals.
