Cristine Reyes as the New Darna – Agree or Disagree?

ABS-CBN has ignited a guessing game of some sort on Sunday when 5 Kapamilya actresses wore the Darna costume and performed stunts and high-kicks on "ASAP."

Kim Chiu, Shaina Magdayao, Empress Schuck, Iya Villania and Cristine Reyes performed in the “Supah Dance” segment of the weekly musical variety show wearing the iconic costume.

Is the Kapamilya network testing the waters? Who do you think among the five stars fit the costume best?

It’s interesting to note that among the 5, only Reyes has publicly expressed interest in portraying the super heroine created by Mars Ravelo.

Among those who already played “Darna” in the past were Vilma Santos, Angel Locsin and Marian Rivera. Is Cristine Reyes next in line?

    akala ko ba wholesome and Darna? bakit si Cristine Reyes? Baka maging PORN ang Darna at masisira ang image ni Darna as the character herself.
    Hindi na magiging pang prime time ang Darma pag siya. R13 na yan at pang midnight film. Just saying….

    Yuck..marian is the best darna? I doubt it, angel ang the best actress who played the role of darna.best acting, best face and body.. Si darna, hindi nakakainis ang pagmumukha. Si marian, makita mo umiyak, nakakadisappoint, ung itsura nakakainis. Pilit..haha. Goodluck sa marian mo na flop ang movie. Pinalabas na ba ung my lady boss? Hahaha

    Darna is a classic Filipino super heroine kaya dapat yung may Filipina looks ang gaganap nito. Mas maganda kung si Angel Locsin ang DARNA kasi Filipinang Filipina ang beauty at ang ganda pa ng hubog ng katawan.

    So funny how everyone is saying d role shd be give to angel locsin just prove how Marian Rivera is always a force to reckon with. There so many abs-cbn actreses who can play d role bea alonso, anne curtis even cristine is ok for it but it has to be d person u guys r hoping will be MR. Sorry Marian Rivera will ever remain d best darna of her generatin no one else.

    Absolutely Ms. Angel Locsin. I just don’t understand the mentality of Abs- Cbn. You have Ms. Angel Locsin at your fingertips, why the so called second-guess. Give her the role and that’s that. End of the story. Hehehe. Good luck Ms. Angel Locsin. Hopefully Abs-cbn will be enlightened very soon and will finally give you a teleserye. They are simply wasting your amazing talent capability.     Disagree!!!! Why not give it to Angel Locsin the role? She’s still perfect for the role as the new Darna. Who knows? She might be able to beat Marian Rivera’s ratings. That way we can find out who has the best role for Darna! And everyone will know who is famous amongst the two of them.
