I watched the film in its gala screening. A good movie is measured specifically by how the audience reacted with the film be it comedy, drama or action. The film succeeded in this aspect what with those witty lines and hilarious scenes. Extra did not make it to Cannes but I think this movie is best appreciated by the Filipino audience. The subtitles aren’t that good for example, “ang lola mo” is a gay lingo in our country but the word “lola” was translated as “nanny.” It is hard for a foreigner to fully understand this.

I have not seen an audience as affected by a film in a long time. The audience laughed and cried with the scenes. The movie succeeded in this aspects which is why i highly recommend the film for everyone to watch. It’s worth ur money.
