Google Doodle for Philippine Independence Day – June 12, 2013

For the third time, Google honored the Philippines Independence Day on its Doodle by featuring an animated version of the scene from June 12, 1898, when the Declaration of Philippine Independence was made in Kawit, Cavite.

Google Oodle

The Doodle features the image of the ancestral home of Gen. Emilio Aguinaldo with an animated person waving the Philippine flag from the balcony. The eight-rayed Sun from the Philippine flag replaced one of the two letter “O’s” while the logo’s other letters are colored blue and red.

When you click the doodle, it will take you to the search results for the terms “Philippines Independence Day.”
