Sarah Geronimo got teary-eyed while offering advice to a balut vendor who failed to earn a spot in "The Voice of the Philippines."

32-year-old Romel Colao from Bukidnon performed “Natutulog Ba Ang Diyos” during the blind auditions of the reality singing competition but none of the four coaches turned their seat for him.

Geronimo became emotional while sharing her sympathy for Calao.

Apl.de.ap, on the other hand, encouraged the balut vendor to continue following his dreams and shared his story when he was a kid, helping his mother sell “uling” in the street.
