“Babagwa” (English title: “The Spider’s Lair”) is written and directed by Jason Paul Laxamana. The film stars Alex Vincent Medina, Joey Paras, Alma Concepcion, and introducing Kiko Matos. Also in the movie are Nico Antonio, Chanel Latorre, Garry Lim, Raqs Regalado, Marx Topacio, and Sunshine Teodoro

“Babagwa” tells the story of an internet scammer who falls in love with a rich old maid while trying to swindle her using a fake Facebook profile.
