Aside from the highly-coveted title, the Misibis Bay star was also named Ms. Bench Body, Ms. Bold and Glamorous by Revlon, Ms. Sports by FILA, Best in Fashion Runway, Ms. Olay, Ms. Reducin, Ms. Figlia and Ms. Laguna.
Megan Young will represent the Philippines in the upcoming 2013 Miss World pageant in Indonesia this September.

To Joel balana – FYI: hindi po Miss World ang title na napalanunan ni Melanie Marquez, She was Miss International 1979. hehe. With regard naman sa coverage, medyo boring at ang haba, nawawala na excitement ng tao, wala pang graphics or good sound scoring during the pageant. haayy.

worst coverage ever, their commercial and tv plugs lasted for 23mins and 39secs before the Q&A of their top 13 candidates, not to add the long wait before the announcement of their top 13 candidates which lasted for 17mins and 22secs…tuloy during the top 5 Q&A it was pretty obvious na pangit ng editing, you wont see the candidates walking, just the mere answer coming from them
asan ang puso dun ng Kapuso? Mas ginusto nilang magsacrifice ang audience nilang maghintay til 2:00AM just for them to know the winner? Kung may CS lang ang GMA ang sarap tumawag para magtanong kung may balak pa ba silang i ere yung program rather than their tv plugs
Eh halos makabisado muna lahat ng tv programs nila sa sobrang dami at sa paulit ulit nitong pag ere, even the lines of their artist memorize mo na, mas maraming commercials and tv plugs rather than the content of the show? Worst coverage and program, a pageant which started around 10PM and ended around 2AM the following day?
Where’s their concern for their televiewers? Hangad niyong magpasaya o mang irita? This coverage seems to show na mas after sila sa profit and not the welfare of the audience, im not bias to ABS since during the commercial of MW, we will transfer the channel to QTV 11 pero natapos na lahat ng show ng lahat ng channel eh hindi pa tapos ang MW kaya pati coronation eh nagmukhang coronation lang sa kanto….
I think the public deserve an explanation and apology for this incident
