"Kapag under the influence ka, hindi mo alam kung ano ang ginagawa mo.” This was the short but meaningful statement of Raymart Santiago after submitting his counter-affidavit recently before the Marikina Regional Trial Court, in relation to cases filed against him by his wife Claudine Barretto.

Aside from the videos and photos against Claudine, Raymart also included in his sworn statement medical records showing his wife allegedly testing positive for drug use; and testimonials from Claudine’s siblings Gretchen, Marjorie and Jay-Jay who allegedly believe that Claudine is mentally ill and in need of professional help.

Days after Raymart filed his counter-affidavit, Claudine used social media to respond to her husband’s accusations. “You don’t destroy people you love,” said Claudine in her official Twitter account.
