Visayas Earthquake Updates: A major 7.2 magnitude Earthquake was recorded near Bohol early Tuesday morning, October 15, 2013.

Update 2 (9:01am):

Philippine Red Cross Chairman Richard Gordon was quoted as saying, “May gumuhong building [dahil] sa lindol sa Cebu.”

Central Visayas Philippine Information Agency quickly posted on Twitter @PIACentralViz “DepEd Dumaguete Division announces class suspensions tomorrow, Oct 16, to check all school buildings due to the quake.”

Four individuals were confirmed dead due to the earthquake.

Update 2 (9:10am):

Speaking on ANC, Bohol Governor Edgar Chatto said, “May mga tremors pa din hanggang ngayon. We are looking into reports of damages.”
