Award-winning comedian Michael V. is set to host the newest singing game show on TV5--"Killer Karaoke: Pinoy Naman"--the localized version of the hit US game show "Killer Karaoke" which will premiere on Nov. 16 at 9:00 p.m.

As part of the Kapatid Network’s Weekend Do It Better block, “Killer Karaoke: Pinoy Naman” will feature contestants attempting to sing in front of a live studio audience while various attempts are made to disrupt their performances. For example, a contestant will sit on a swing while singing a chosen song. He or she will be then dipped into a pool of water filled with snakes and other reptiles. The audience will vote for the contestant who were able to sing well despite the challenges being thrown at them.

Directed by Mike Tuviera, the local version promises a whole lot of fun as Michael V adds his own brand of comedy to the already hilarious format as Pinoys now get to participate and try out the game show’s nerve-wracking challenges.
