Kylie will give life to Ada, the lead role in the upcoming telefantasya called “Adarna” on GMA Telebabad.
In an interview by GMA News Online, the young actress shared her excitement about the project which she considers as the biggest break she ever had.
“Excited ako kasi, unang una, folktale siya ng mga Pinoy. ‘Yun, at saka medyo may action, and may drama din. So whole package na siya. And at the same time, kinakabahan ako. Kasi siyempre ang ganda na ng concept, kailangan ko talaga mag-deliver. Sobrang nakakataba ng puso kasi naisip ako ng GMA,” she said.
Kylie also differentiates her character in “Adarna” compared to the afternoon dramas that she’s done before.
“Hindi lang siya kawawa, may strength siya, may power siya. Mas malaki ang responsibility niya kasi marami siyang kailangang gampanan, hindi lang kasi siya tao. Kung gusto niyang magalit, magagalit siya,” Kylie added.
Her leading men in the highly-anticipated series are Mikael Daez, Benjamin Alves and Geoff Eigenmann. Introducing in the series is newcomer Rafa Siguion-Reyna, son of famed directors Carlos Siguion-Reyna and Bibeth Orteza. Other cast-members include Chynna Ortaleza, Maureen Larrazabal, Jestoni Alarcon and Jean Garcia.
“Adarna” is under the helm of Ricky Davao and it is set to premiere on November 18, 2013 replacing “Kahit Nasaan Ka Man” on the network’s primetime block.
