Empire State Building Shines PH Flag Colors for Yolanda Victims

The world famous Empire State Building in New York City donned the colors of the Philippine flag--red, blue, yellow and white--on Friday night (Saturday morning in Manila) to raise awareness for Yolanda victims and support the country's efforts to recovery.

According to the Empire State Building’s official Instagram account, the gesture was done to raise awareness around the world that the super typhoon-struck Philippines needs help specially the Visayas regions where at least 3,631 died with 12,487 injured and 1,179 still missing based on the latest figures of the National Disaster Council.
