The lovable Smurfs return in Columbia Pictures/Sony Pictures Animation’s highly awaited sequel, “The Smurfs 2,” which is now available on Blu-Ray and DVD.

In this sequel to the hybrid live action/animated family blockbuster comedy The Smurfs, the evil wizard Gargamel creates a couple of mischievous Smurf-like creatures called the Naughties that he hopes will let him harness the all-powerful, magical Smurfessence. But when he discovers that only a real Smurf can give him what he wants, and only a secret spell that Smurfette knows can turn the Naughties into real Smurfs, Gargamel kidnaps Smurfette and brings her to Paris, where he has been winning the adoration of millions as the world’s greatest sorcerer.

Reprising their roles are Hank Azaria (as Gargamel), Neil Patrick Harris (Patrick Winslow), and Jayma Mays (as Grace Winslow, Patrick’s wife). Breathing life to the adorable characters are Jonathan Winters (as Papa Smurf), Fred Armisen (as Brainy Smurf), Katy Perry (as Smurfette), Alan Cumming (as Gutsy Smurf), Anton Yelchin (as Clumsy Smurf), George Lopez (as Grouchy Smurf), John Oliver (as Vanity Smurf) and new cast members Christina Ricci and J. B. Smoove as members of the Naughties.

Directed by Raja Gosnell, the video release is sponsored Seri Fantasy World.
