Jessica Sanchez sang both the Philippine National Anthem "Lupang Hinirang" and the American National Anthem "Star Spangled Banner" during the opening of the Pacquiao vs Rios bout in Macau, Sunday morning, November 24, 2013.

It was Pacquiao who personally chose Sanchez to sing the two national anthems.

The invitation came out only last Tuesday when Pacquiao tweeted Sanchez if she can do the honor of “singing the national anthems before our fight?”

Sanchez later replied: “Yes! I’m honored!”

The two are set to team up in a fund-raiser for Yolanda victims after the bout.
