‘Call Center Girl’ Beats ‘When the Love is Gone’ at the Box Office
Two mainstream Pinoy movies–“Call Center Girl” and “When the Love is Gone”–collided when it both opened in theaters nationwide at the same schedule: December 4–8, 2013 time frame. According to Box Office Mojo, the Star Cinema comedy movie starring Pokwang, Enchong Dee and Jessy Mendiola bested Viva Films’ romantic drama starring Alice Dixson, Gabby Concepcion, Andi Eigenmann and Cristine Reyes.
Disney’s “Frozen” captured the no. 1 spot for two consecutive weeks with a running total of P69 million.
