Q&A with Bossing Vic Sotto for the Movie ‘My Little Bossings’

"Bossing" Vic Sotto answered some questions from the blogging community regarding his new movie "My Little Bossings" during the Bloggers' Night for the 2013 Metro Manila Film Festival entry held at Annabel's Restaurant in Timog on December 13, 2013.

Vic Sotto

These are some of the questions asked by bloggers during the blogcon for the MMFF movie:

Paano niyo po na-conceptualize ‘yung casting ng “My Little Bossings”?

So we get in touch with Kris Aquino. Incidentally, even the day before, kinausap namin si Kris before kasi nga balak naming i-guest si Bibmy in one of our movies, parang guest role lang.

How was it working with kids in “My Little Bossings” and your previous endeavors?

Vic: “Working with kids has always been a wonderful experience kasi I always see to it na yung trabaho namin is not really trabaho, kailangan may kasamang laro. It’s work and play at the same time. Natutunan ko kay Aiza yan e. When we were doing ‘Okey Ka Fairy Ko’ films and TV programs, doon ko natutunan na kapag bata ang katrabaho mo, kalaro mo rin siya and in this movie dalawa ang kalaro ko. Isang madaldal isang rough.

Sabi niya, “My Little Bossings” kayong tatlo ‘yun e so let’s concentrate on “My Little Bossings”–myself and the two kids para di magulo. ‘Nung magawa ‘yung layout mas simple.”

Vic and Ryzza

So credit goes to the writer and our director Marlon Rivera. So like what you said, trailer pa lang kitang kita na ang chemistry nung dalawa, mas lalo na kapag pinanood mo ‘yung full length na pelikula.

I don’t know, but with this film it’s more of an excitement, I’m so excited, gusto ko mapanood na ng mga tao what the pelikula is all about. It’s one of my best films I think, so far, to think na walang fantasy, walang effect effects na hindi naman talaga kailangan, I’m so excited I can’t even think kung sino magna-number one, sinong makakalaban kasi wala akong iniisip na kalaban e, palaging ganun ang iniisip ko pag dating ng festival.”

Vic Ryzza

Aside from Kris, Vic, Bimby and Ryzza, “My Little Bossings” also stars Aiza Seguerra, Jaclyn Jose, Jose Manalo, Paolo Ballesteros, Barbie Forteza, Neil Coleta, and Neil Sese from the direction of Marlon Rivera. Story and screenplay by Bibeth Orteza.

Produced by OctoArts Films, M-Zet Films, APT Entertainment and Kris Aquino Productions, “My Little Bossings” is set to open in theaters on Christmas Day, December 25, 2013.
