‘Pretty Little Liars’ to be Adapted on PH Television this 2014
Are you familiar with the characters Aria, Spencer, Hanna, Emily and Alison of the hit teen drama “Pretty Little Liars”? They’re going to have a Filipino counterpart as TV5 gears up for the airing of the local adaptation of the said US mystery TV series to Philippine primetime.
Top-billed by TV5 homegrown talents Sophie Albert, Chanel Morales, Stephanie Rowe and introducing Daniel Lee, PLL revolves around a group of friends who mourn over the death of the leader of their clique (to be played by Valeen Montenegro), hoping that their secrets go to the grave with her.
“Pretty Little Liars” Philippine version is set to premiere on the second quarter of 2014 as a weekly primetime series on TV5.
this is stupid to be honest, we all know tv5 cant pull off something as big as PLL and it would honestly be better if they made an original series instead of ruining the damn show
Ang subtitle nyo na lang ang boses into tagalog.
i love PLL my fav show!
They will just ruin the whole damn thing
Hahahaha WTF! NO WAY!!!!
H to the E to the L to the L NO! Lalabas tayong mga Pinoy na gaya gaya. Pwede bang gumawa nalang tayo ng sariling palabas hindi yung magaadapt adapt pa. -.- Grabe na toh. Originality please.
don’t let this happen… tv5 arr you out of your mind? seriously, how will the parents allow their kids here in the philippines to watch a series like pll, eh we know how manang the parents are.. and besides primetime pa. tsk.
Anu ba yan bakit ABC 5 ang gagawa.. eh parang laging tinitipid ang production dyan!!!! dapat ABS CBN or GMA..EH baka nga mas maganda pa dyan channel 11 kung gumawa eh…. eh kuripot yang channel 5 sa production kaya mediocre ang kinalalanbasan!!!
Crab mentality talaga nang mga pinoy. Anyways, I followed through PLL since I was grade schooler here in US. The book and the tv series are very different when it comes into storyline. I would love to see the take of my fellow Filipinos into the story line because honestly, with a very conplex story line like PLL, it can go anywhere! If they follow the book, then that’s just disappointing but if they make their own story line after building up a strong back up story, then I would say they did justice 🙂 even the current PLL story line is all over the place unlike the book. I love it though, I love the good side and the bad side of PLL book and series. 🙂
