Before the year ends, the best in Hollywood and American independent cinema hit the movie houses. For the fans of awards shows like me, this is the start of longer internet hours to read articles and reviews and lengthier TV moments to watch marathon awards shows.

The Golden Globes already released their choices for best movies of the year and so did the American Film Institute. The Screen Actors Guild shall follow shortly and for the penultimate show this season, the Oscars, is expected to name their nominees next month. With a week of scourging for reviews, shortlists, articles, and the-making trailers, The Lifestyle Hub has released the Ten Movies that shall most likely make it to the podium early next year.

Take note that I have not seen these movies, except for two, as they are not released in the Philippines yet (nor Torrent-able) but these are the movies everyone is talking about. You might want to list these too on your ‘to download’ list.
