POEA’s 400,000 Overseas Jobs Offer Tackled in ‘Failon Ngayon’

Ted Failon examines the Philippine Overseas Employment Administration’s (POEA) announcement of 400,000 available jobs for Filipinos abroad in “Failon Ngayon” this Saturday (Jan 11).

According to POEA, even undergraduates have the chance to get a new job abroad. Job seekers may apply as household service workers cleaners, waiters, electrician, welders, plumber, cooks, bartenders, nurses, hospital workers, accountants, engineers, and others. How can applicants assure that they get the job they apply for?

Aside from this, Ted also tackles employers’ alleged negative impressions of applicants who have tattoos.

The award-winning broadcast journalist also probes the alleged misused of local government budget by allocating millions to billions of pesos for garbage collection.
