Do you think the Best Actor award was miscategorized? I think Joel Torre was supposed to be a supporting actor to Piolo Pascual and Gerald Anderson who are stars of the film “On the Job.” He should have been included in the Best Supporting Actor category. What do you think?

  4. Joel Torre is actually the lead actor for OTJ. Piolo and Gerald and Joey Marquez are the supporting actors. Piolo and Gerald died in the movie.

  5. Gawad Tanglaw seems to be the most credible award giving body today. Urian sometimes is msyterious. FAMAS and Academy awards are popularity awards

  6. yeah but Ate Vi movie was trashed by British Film Critics , it was submitted for Best Foreigh Film.but the Critics said , it was RUBBISH!!

  7. Vilma Santos truly deserves the Best Actress award. The last scenes of the movie where Vilma was shouted at by the director and where Vilma Santos was watching the actress who replaced her for that scene were very profound and only Vilma can convey such rich mix of emotions in only one scene!

Joel Torre owned OTJ movie. He deserves to be the Best Actor. He made the likes of Piolo and Gerald appear like mere supports!

  8. Joel Torre already won Best Actor in an international award-giving body for the same role. Piolo and Gerald may be nominees for the same award but Joel deserves the win.

  9. I believe so. He is not in the lead role…nevertheless, the award has been handed over to them. well..

If you have seen the film OTJ, you would know that Joel Torre is the lead. He was there from beginning to end. The story mainly revolved around him. Piolo and Gerald did not even make it to the end of the film.
