A great number of quality indie films didn’t get to be exhibited internationally because of lack of budget. Submitting a film to international fests entails a lot of costs. But Ekstra is well oiled and would bother to submit the film even in the hotay-hotay festivals in India, and now Bangladesh, small-time festival where Vilma Santos has a chance to win a much-desired international recognition.

No Best Picture winner in Dhaka fest because the entries are average, if not mediocre, according to Jury members. Ate Vi won in a roster of average-quality entries.
