Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla’s Next Movie: ‘She’s Dating the Gangster’

Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla are set to star in the film adaptation of the bestselling romance novel "She's Dating the Gangster."

To be produced by Star Cinema in partnership with Summit Media, the publisher of the Bianca Bernardino novel, “She’s Dating the Gangster” is set to hit theaters nationwide later this year.

According to Star Cinema head Ms. Malou Santos, the romantic movie will be helmed by box-office director Cathy Garcia-Molina, known for rom-com blockbusters like the highest-grossing “It Takes a Man and a Woman” starring Sarah Geronimo and John Lloyd Cruz.

And starring in the movie are Teen King Daniel Padilla and Teen Queen Kathryn Bernardo, stars of the top-rating Kapamilya primetime series “Got to Believe” which is also being helmed by Molina.

“She’s Dating the Gangster” tells the heart-wrenching tale of 17-year-old Athena Dizon and campus bad boy Kenji de los Reyes, two teenagers who begin a pretend relationship that ultimately transforms into something deeper.

    im not a fan of kathniel but i must say, they are the perfect artist for athena and kenji. sana huwag nilang iedit un story, lalo na un mga maliliit n details how the story describe the love of kenji to athena. kapag naalala ko un mga scene sa story, nakakainlove at nakakaiyak…
