“Bromance: My Brother’s Romance” was directed by box-office director Wenn V. Deramas.

It revolves around the story of Brando and Brandy, who are both played by Zanjoe. The two are twins and are very different from each other. However, Brando has problems accepting his twin brother’s being gay, and decides to make a life of his own, putting the two on separate career paths where they grow further and further apart.

All this remains the same until one day, their mother begs them to set aside their differences and reconcile. In an unfortunate twist of fate, the two are forced to see each other again.

“Bromance: My Brother’s Romance” also stars Cristine Reyes, Arlene Muhlach, Boom Labrusca, Manual Chua, Joey Paras, Lassy Marquez, Joy Viado, Maricar de Mesa, Abby Bautista, Nikki Valdez, Carlo Romero, and Jeff Luna; with cameo appearances by some of the local entertainment industry’s biggest and brightest stars.

The film’s cast gained recognition for their performances in “Bromance: My Brother’s Romance”. In a review by the Cinema Evaluation Board, the casting was deemed “excellent”. The review also focused in on lead actor Zanjoe. It said, “Zanjoe Marudo is a revelation, as he essayed both his roles with great versatility. ‘Bromance: My Brother’s Romance’ is a good vehicle for him to display his range. This is his best movie—his performance is commendable and effortless—and it’s the perfect launching movie for him.”
