Young Kapuso actor Elmo Magalona tackles a dark role in the Cinemalaya 2014 entry "#Y."

At the heart of the film #Y (“Hashtag Y”) is young Kapuso star, Elmo Magalona. The 20-year-old takes a dark turn in a film that features the young and the reckless, as they dabble in social media, the internet, and the lives of young people today.

Here’s what Elmo has to say about his role as Miles in the movie “Y”:

Teen drama #Y is written by Jeff Stelton and directed by Gino M. Santos.

Aside from Elmo, also starring in the movie are Coleen Garcia, Sophie Albert, Kit Thompson, and Slater Young.
