The Aj Ramos Scandal: Why is everyone happy about it that it's currently trending on Twitter? Or maybe that statement is too blatant and way too exaggerated.

Definitely, not everyone is happy about the now trending Abby Santiaguel and Aj Ramos Scandal but who the hell cares?

Reading my timeline alone makes me think of how people nowadays have become so used to seeing a video scandal or two hitting the web and becoming an instant topic, a very hot topic, to be more precise. In the so called Aj Ramos Scandal’s case, a trending topic on Twitter, which whether we like it or not, would definitely die down sooner than we’d expect, people loved it instantly.

I mean, it’s 2014 people. There might still be a competition between Ateneo and La Salle as whether Aj’s sex video deserves to be tagged #DLSUScandal or #AteneoScandal, but people no longer care about the hypocrites. You can name them the way you want but most people on social media only care how Abby and Aj performed in the video, which to our surprise, show admiration of how the two did the acts.

For a country that have seen the worst video scandals, (see Wally Bayola Scandal or Chito Miranda Scandal), people would definitely rejoice seeing a sex video of a cute guy armed with a good enough sword, and is more skilled than his mature, celebrity counterparts. Well, you must be on Twitter to know the public’s reaction to his video. Some people are even asking for a Part 2, something that the online world cursed Chito Miranda when the second part of his video came out. Could we blame them?
