ABS-CBN Dominates 28th Star Awards for TV with 33 Trophies
Leading the pack of this year’s Kapamilya winners are Coco Martin, Kim Chiu, Toni Gonzaga and Vice Ganda.
Coco and Kim were hailed Best Drama Actor and Actress, respectively, for their outstanding performance in “Ikaw Lamang,” ABS-CBN’s hit master teleserye that scored six awards in various categories.
Toni was named Best Female Showbiz-Oriented Talk Show Host for “The Buzz,” Best Female TV Host for “ASAP 19” and Best Reality Show Host alongside her fellow “Pinoy Big Brother All In” hosts Bianca Gonzalez, John Prats and Robi Domingo.
Vice Ganda, on the other hand, brought home two awards, namely the Best Celebrity Talk Show Host for “Gandang Gabi Vice” and Best Male TV Host for “It’s Showtime.”
Special awards were given to the love team of Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla as the German Moreno Power Tandem of the Year; and Iñigo Pascual and Nadine Lustre as the Male and Female Star of the Night.
The PMPC Star Awards for TV is an annual award-giving body recognizing outstanding celebrities and programming produced by several TV networks. It was founded by the Philippine Movie Press Club together with Airtime Marketing, Inc. in 1987. The Star Awards is the Philippine counterpart of the Golden Globe Awards in Hollywood.

· Best Child Performer: Raikko Mateo for Honesto
· Best New Male TV Personality: Manolo Pedrosa for MMK episode “Selfie”
· Best New Female TV Personality: Lyca Gairanod for MMK episode “Red Envelope”
· Best Gag Show: Goin’ Bulilit
· Best Comedy Show: Home Sweetie Home
· Best Variety Show: It’s Showtime
· Best Musical Variety Show: ASAP 19
· Best Male TV Host: Vice Ganda for It’s Showtime
· Best Female TV Host: Toni Gonzaga for ASAP 19

ABS-CBN bested other TV networks in various entertainment and news categories. GMA received 12 awards , while TV5 took home five.

Agreed! actually KC as Natalia was the one who touched the HEARTS of the VIEWERS. Every words she delivered make sense to everyone. BUT for KIM she talks nonsense many times to get the attention of the Viewers. KC Conception had proven or genuine that she is a BRILLIANT Actress. KC and Coco should be the Love team in IKAW LAMANG part 2 to make everyone HAPPY. Hopefully, ABS-CBN discovered KC’s TALENT. She deserve more movies,Teleserye and Shows in 2015.
KC did an awesome job in her portrayal of Natalia. Her eyes speak volumes. I’m not a fan, but now I realized she is a talented and a versatile actress, not to mention her looks. Her asset is her eyes, which she should realized. Kim, lacks the emotion. She didn’t deliver the role as expected. I can’t figure out how she got the award.
Please give a chance for KC Conception (Angelina Jolie) and Coco Martin (Brad Pitts) make an Action Movie. This will be the best to Viewers/Fans. Something that related to the Military/Police/Detective/NBI that helps the government.

We all love KC, because she has a good heart,humble,talented,Christian,and most of all she touch our HEARTS as NATALIA and ALEXIS. She is a descent actress knows what people want to hear. HINDI gaya ng iba diyan…
We even noticed and realized that everytime KC Conception won awards they don’t even recognize in the shows like ASAP,Buzz and TV Patrol. They mentioned everyone but not KC WHY? what happen? I thought this station treat their people in a good way that there is no FAVORITISM. I love this station because I thought they consider the feeling of their FANS. I hope you will recognize that someone in your Station deserve your ATTENTION. KC is the one we really want to watch for a change. She always win as BEST MOVIE ACTRESS and BEST SUPPORTING DRAMA ACTRESS

IN fairnes, si KC Conception ang napakagaling na actress ngayon sa ABS-CBN..she deserve to have more projects to make all the VIEWERS and FANS to be happy will not give up to watch TFC here in canada and U.S…she is the most beautiful, talented and Brilliant actress in the Showbiz. The station should not waste this time to make more money and to encourage the Fans to watch their Station because we can’t waste our money and time to watch something always the same people,same shows…Please ABS-CBN give attention to KC Conception to make an action movie, shows and Series for a change…what’s the point she signed two years contract if you don’t give her a CHANCE to share her talent. Infernez yung iba naman deserving manalo specially yung cast ng ikaw lamang na humakot ng nominasyon pero yungbpagkakapanalo ni kim chiu ay hindi masyado convincing kasi may mas mgaling pa sa kanya…
Mag taka ka kung ang gma ang nakahakot ng mga awards tapos ang mga shows puro basura level.. hehehe, mas marami ang mag wawala. 🙂
