During the social media launch of his debut album “The HUSH Project” last Thursday, February 5, at Bruce Lim’s Rustique Kitchen in Makati, up-and-coming recording artist Brad Go shared with bloggers and online influencers how he travelled around the world to find incredible love stories that he eventually penned into songs.

HUSH is actually the acronym for “Have You Seen Her,” the title of his blog where he tackles his own love story, how she met the girl who ignited his curiosity about the most popular four letter word.

“While walking home from work late one night in September of 2012, I met a girl. It was raining, and she didn’t have an umbrella so I offered to share mine. We eventually started dating, and although it didn’t work out, I was inspired to travel around the world in search of incredible love stories to use as inspiration for my album, while also filming the experience in hopes of creating a documentary. Traveling around certainly wasn’t cheap, but it was well worth the experience,” he said.

Although his first experience about love did not end in “happily ever after,” it started a fire in Brad’s heart to embark on a romantic quest: to travel the world, talk to people about love and their love stories, and write songs about them. He was able to raise over $10,000 to finance this endeavor that is now a studio recording album released by a major label.

“The HUSH Project” is composed of eight original compositions based from 8 love stories that Brad was able to collect from these 8 cities: Barcelona, Tokyo, Melbourne, Singapore, Palermo, Berlin, Manila and Paris. The song titles are “All Along,” “I Want You Now,” “It’s You,” “Follow Through,” “Firestarter,” “Feel This Way,” “Love Is Love” and “Time Machine.” You can learn about the story behind each songs in the form of vlogs which Brad published on his official YouTube channel, www.youtube.com/bradgofilm.

There’s also a bonus track in the album called “Carry You Home,” which kinda summed-up his journey.

The launch would not be complete without Brad singing his original compositions and on the video below, he treated the bloggers with the acoustic rendition of the romantic ballad called “Time Machine,” one of his favorite songs in the album:
