Despite being one of the most versatile actors of his generation, Enchong Dee admitted that his role in the hit legal drama “Ipaglaban Mo” this Saturday (Mar 7) was one of the most challenging role he ever did.

“I felt very challenged with the role and even asked myself if I can do it since it has been a while since I last acted. This is the type of role you should really prepare for. It was hard but I am really glad and proud with the results,” Enchong said.

The actor-turned-recording artist also shared how his director Don Cuaresma and the whole staff of the drama anthology helped him all throughout taping.

“Direk Don really focused on my acting and he is very much involved with how I attacked the character in every scene. I also love working with the staff. We have a happy set in ‘Ipaglaban Mo,” he added.

Watch as he plays Dino, a man with a sleepwalking condition who unknowingly killed his own wife while on his sleep.

It all happened one night during the town fiesta. Everyone was having fun and drinking when Dino got himself to a fight with some of his neighbors for forcing him to drink alcohol, which can cause really bad effects on him given his condition.

He then went home with a heavy heart until he fell asleep. In his dreams, the neighbors he fought with attacked him and he defended himself from them using a bolo.

To his surprise, he did hit people with a bolo in real life including some house guests, his own father, and even his seven-month pregnant wife Ella (Devon Seron) that caused her life to end.
