Nick Jonas will portray a very complicated character in the new TV series "Kingdom" which is set to premiere on April 7 at 10:00pm on RTL CBS.

I said “complicated” because the 21-year-old’s character in the TV series will not only revolve on the manly and action-packed nature of being an MMA fighter but he will also face dilemmas on his sexuality.

“Kingdom” is a visceral family saga that takes place in Venice, California and is set against the backdrop of the renegade subculture of Mixed Martial Arts (MMA). It is a world rife with complex characters and relationships that unfurl in surprising and deeply human ways.

Created by Byron Velasco, “Kingdom” also stars “Parenthood” actors Matt Lauria and Jonathan Tucker along with “Captain America: The Winter Soldier” actor Frank Grillo.

“Kingdom” is set to premiere on April 7, 2015 at 10:00pm (9:00pm JKT/BKK) on RTL CBS channel.
