Amy Perez-Castillo is a TV host, a radio presenter, and occasional actress and events host. On top of that, she’s a mother of three boys namely Adi (17 years old), Kyle (6 years old), and Isaiah (2 years old). A very busy work schedule doesn’t stop Amy in preparing healthy and delicious meals for her kids with the help of Clara Ole.

“With boys kasi, as a mom, I’m very pressured. Talaga, everyday to come up with something that’s unique and at the same time tasty siyempre usually boys, mahilig sila sa malasang food,” she said.

Until she discovered Clara Ole products which helps her prep up tasty home cook meals quickly and easily.

“As a mom, even before pa, I’m a regular user of Clara Ole. Why? Because it’s very easy, madali lang siyang gawin and everytime na I will come up with a very special dish, talagang you will see their reaction and hear them say ‘wow mama this is so good!’ Ako naman feeling ko ang galing galing ko na parang nag-aral ako sa culinary, actually basic culinary lang po ‘yung kinuha ko, mga 3 months lang ‘yun kasi nga I’m pressured to always come up with something unique, and at the same time nutritious, and at the same time magugustuhan ng mga boys kasi nga with boys, picky eaters kasi ang mga ‘yan,” she said.

Amy demonstrated how she cooks the Castillo-favorite pasta in less than 10 minutes with the help of Clara Ole.

“One recipe that I created, alam ng mga nanay ito e, this is what I call the ‘Castillo Fave.’ Sa bahay po kasi namin nangyayari madalas if I check the pantry if may tira-tira…so one time when I opened yung ref namin nakita ko merong sausage. Sabi ko parang ang tagal na ng mga sausage na ito. ‘Pag tumagal pa ito ng isang araw baka pwede na itong tubuan ng kung ano. Usually for a mom like me merong pressure na kailangan iba ‘yung huling niluto mo sa lulutuin mo ngayon,” she said.

Here is the pasta that Amy calls “Castillo Fave” which she cooked in only about 5 minutes by using olive oil, left-over sausages, shitaake mushrooms, pasta and Clara Ole Cheesy Pesto Pasta Sauce.

Aside from the pasta that Amy cooked, guests were also able to taste different dishes made with Clara Ole sauces and marinades for the meat entrees and pasta, and dips n’ dressings and vinaigrettes for the salads. There were also desserts made with Clara Ole syrups, jams, and jellies.

The Potluck Foodfest was actually a kick-off of eight mini potluck parties to be held at condo residences with different themes. Beginning April 25, Clara Ole will be sponsoring the party of 8 personalities and bloggers who will then invite their neighbors, family, and friends to share their own signature dish using the products. The objective of these mini-potluck parties is to be able to share some time and space-saving tips, hacks, easy recipes and helpful information to make fast-paced living a little bit easier specially to those who live in condominiums and have small cooking spaces.
