El Gamma Penumbra Earns 2nd Golden Buzzer, Advances to ‘Asia’s Got Talent’ Finale

Shadow theater group from the Philippines–El Gamma Penumbra–earned its second Golden Buzzer during the last semi-final leg of Asia’s Got Talent Thursday night, April 30, 2015. The group will fast track to the grand finals next week.

Anggun, one of the four judges, was moved to tears by the group’s performance.

“I’m just extremely moved by what I just saw. It was really emotional. You made me really proud tonight. I’m sure you made Filipinos proud tonight. Thank you. That was flawless,” she said.

El Gamma Penumbra will join fellow Philippine acts Gerphil Flores, Gwyneth Dorado, and Junior New System in the grand finals of the regional talent show.
