Filipino Mikey Ureta and His Dance Crew ‘Boyband’ Wows the Judges in Britain’s Got Talent

Dance crew Boyband received the much-coveted Golden Buzzer from hosts Ant and Dec after wowing the audience with their spectacular dance moves. The Golden Buzzer gives the judges and hosts the chance to send one act, and one act only, each automatically through to the live semi-finals. Boyband consists of Jaih, Mike, Dylan, Corey and Mikey. They have been dancing together for five years and like being called “the One Direction of dance.”

Mikey Ureta, started dancing in 2008 after watching “Into the Hoods” a hip-hop musical that inspired him to get into dancing. His biggest dance influence would be his mates from Boyband. Getting the Golden Buzzer was life-changing, especially having the opportunity to perform on stage in front of thousands and thousands of people. Mikey is considered to be the big brother of Boyband, taking care of the other members and planning their choreography.

Britain’s Got Talent airs as live from the UK every Sunday at 10:30 am on RTL CBS Entertainment HD. Catch Boyband in the semi-finals of Britain’s from 26 May Tuesday to 31 May Sunday, at 10:30am. The finals air on the channel on 1 June Monday at 10:30am.

The contestants compete for a cash prize and a chance to appear at the Royal Variety Performance in front of members of the British Royal Family.
