By winning this Emmy for our series that celebrated precisely that spirit of creativity and excellence of the Filipino, we ourselves realized a dream with this coveted industry recognition. We’re very grateful to everyone involved in making this happen,” said ABS-CBN North America Managing Director Olivia De Jesus.

The Emmy® statuette is awarded for outstanding achievement in television by The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences. San Francisco/Northern California is one of the 20 chapters awarding regional Emmy® Awards. The chapter is composed of television/cable stations, on-line and production companies from Visalia to the Oregon border and includes Hawaii and Reno, Nevada. A total of 324 entries were nominated and 92 received the Emmy® statuette. English and Spanish language entries were judged, scored and awarded separately. Electronic ballots were submitted by a minimum of five peer judges from other NATAS chapters and were sent directly to the accounting firm of Spalding & Company in San Francisco.
