ABS-CBN The Filipino Channel (TFC) has launched recently its new global anti-piracy PSA which is now airing on TFC worldwide. Entitled, “Gusto mo ba ng “Libre”? Don’t pay a high price for free!”, the PSA focuses on the real and serious dangers of visiting so-called free sites or free streaming sites to watch Filipino TV shows and films. There have been numerous reports of malware on these free sites, which infect viewers’ computers allowing hackers to invade people’s computers and steal personal and financial information. The new PSA is a collaboration between ABS-CBN’s Assistant Vice President of Global Anti-Piracy Elisha Lawrence and the team of ABS-CBN Global Head of Marketing Communications Pam Castillo.
