‘My Kung Fu Chinito’ of Richard Yap and Enchong Dee Wins National TV Ratings

Kapamilya chinito heartthrobs Richard Yap and Enchong Dee have proven the power of their charms as their newest “Wansapanataym” special titled “My Kung Fu Chinito” debuted strongly with high TV ratings.

According to data from Kantar Media last Sunday (June 21), the pilot episode of “My Kung Fu Chinito” scored a national TV rating of 31.1%, which is more than 13 percentage points compared to its rival program in GMA “Ismol Family” (17.6%).

Meanwhile, more viewers will surely be hooked in the coming episodes of “Wansapanataym Presents My Kung Fu Chinito” as Chairman Tai (Richard) discovers that Diego (Enchong) is the chosen one, the next Kung Fu Chinito.

How will Diego’s life change with the superpowers of the hero he idolizes? Will he be able to use it for good and fight evil?

Also joining Richard and Enchong in their “Wansapanataym” special are Rio Locsin, Marina Benipayo, Sofia Andres, Atoy Co, David Chua, Mutya Orquia, and Clarence Delgado. It is written by Mariami Tanangco Domingo, and directed by Erick Salud.
