Last weekend in GMA’s “To The Top,” the first multi-platform boy band competition in the Philippines, the final 10 contestants battled it out for one last time.

Here’s a recap of the grand finale:

Team A which is composed of Adrian Pascual, Edric Ulang, Bryan Olano, Joshua Jacobe and Mico Cruz, with the help of their mentors–vocal coach Moy Ortiz and dance coach Prince Paltu-ob–performed Journey’s “Don’t Stop Believin'” in their own arrangement.

On the other hand, Team B which is composed of Joshua Jacobe, Martin de Vera, Louie Pedroso, Miko Manguba and Cholo dela Cruz, with the help of their mentors–vocal coach Sweet Plantado and dance coach Jesse Gotangco–performed a reggae version of Journey’s “Don’t Stop Believin.'”

In the next showdown, Team A performed the original song “Tuloy Lang.”

Team B also performed an original song titled “Kaya Ko, Kaya Mo.”

Before the two teams perform in the third and final round, the judges gave their quick comments. Ryan Cayabyab praised Adrian of Team A and Joshua of Team B.

For their final performance, Team A performed the original song “Darating.”

Team B’s final performance was also an original song called “Alaala”:

After the regular judges Ryan Cayabyab, GMA Artist Center, and guest judges Gerphil Flores and Jim Paredes made their final deliberation, the 5 winners of “To The Top” were named.

They are: Joshua Jacobe, Adrian Pascual, Mico Cruz, Louie Pedroso, and Miko Manguba. They will be called T.O.P.

It was also announced that Byan Olano won the Viewers’ Choice award and his prize is no less than a house and lot!
