Teen pop heartthrob Sam Mendes climbs to no. 8 of Billboard Hot 100 nudging down Taylor Swift and Selena Gomez.

Mendes’ “Stitches” has steadily gaining popularity since the release of its music video last June. It’s the lead track from the debut album of the Canadian singer called “Handwritten” which already reached platinum status in the United States for selling more than 1 million copies.
