Q&A with 4th Power of ‘The X Factor UK’

Pinay girl group 4th Power will compete in “The X Factor UK” Judges’ Houses round for a slot in the live shows or Top 12. This is crucial because the Top 24 will be cut in half!

Check out the Pre-Live Show interview with our very own 4th Power:

Q: What makes you stand out from everyone else in your category?

I think the fact that we are sisters makes us stand out and we also perform with a lot of passion, fun and love. We always sing from our hearts.

Q: Describe your mentor in three words?

Fierce, kind and doll-like.

Q: How would you describe your own style?

We are very fierce, energetic, powerful performers with angelic harmonies. In terms of our fashion style, it is more of a girly teeny- bop look, with lots of colour and a bit of hip hop.

Q: How well do you know everyone else in the category and have you bonded with anyone in particular?

We’ve got to know the groups very well, particularly by going to Rome together. Being there has bonded all of the groups. They are now like brothers and sisters to us. We are close to New Kings Order – they helped us with our choreography, and Aaron is also from the Philippines.

Q: Of the remaining acts in the competition, whose album would you buy?

We would buy Jennifer Phillips’ albums – she is very powerful and has a vibe that makes you happy when you hear her sing.

Q: Describe the toughest point in the competition so far?

The pressure of going to Judges’ Houses – travelling to Rome together and then having to adjust to everything, like learning a new song, the time zone and even the weather!

Q: Where do you see yourselves in five years time?

Wow! In five years we want to be playing our own world tour and be putting out albums that people can relate to. We want sold out concerts, like One Direction.

Q: Which one artist in the industry most inspires you and why?

It’s definitely Beyonce, she is our number one inspiration. She is like a queen to us and we look up to her so much. We’d like to perform with her one day. Nothing is impossible with The X Factor.

Q: Fantasy dinner party – which five music industry figures dead or alive would you invite?

Beyonce, One Direction, Celine Dion, Little Mix and then the other girls from Destiny’s Child – Michelle and Kelly.

Q: What would it mean to get to the live shows?

This is a huge part of our life. Getting to the live show will change our lives and our families lives. Hopefully they will have a wonderful future because of this.
