Earlier this week, the Watsons Switcher’s Surprise campaign was launched at Watsons SM Mall of Asia. The mechanics of this campaign are simple: One lucky shopper, at a designated time, who will get spotted purchasing a Watsons product (anything with a Watsons label like food supplements, lotion, shampoo, etc) will get a surprise from a Watson brand ambassador–either the flatscreen TV, the Macbook Air, GoPro, the Hong Kong Trip, or the Boracay Trip.

Last January 28, Mrs. Esther Blanco was just shopping for Vitamin C at Watsons SM Mall of Asia branch. She had no idea that the Switcher’s Surprise has begun that day and the mystery item is Watsons Ascorbic Acid.

And since she picked the Watsons Generics brand for ascorbic acid at the designated time, the store manager assisted her with her purchase.

After getting the receipt and the food supplements that she bought, the store manager brought her to Brand Ambassador Lorna Tolentino, who then delivered the exciting news to Mrs. Blanco.

Tolentino handed a travel voucher to Mrs. Blanco because she won a 4D-3N Hong Kong Trip package for 2 complete with accommodations!

Later that day, another lucky shopper won in the Switcher’s Surprise campaign. The prize was a Boracay Trip for 2 and it was handed by another Watsons Brand Ambassador, Iya Villania.

On January 28, another set of lucky shoppers won fabulous prizes and no less than Watsons celebrity endorsers Tessa Prieto-Valdes, Patty Laurel-Filart and Christian Bautista delivered the pleasant surprise.
