From March 21 to 24 (Holy Monday to Maundy Thursday), the Rescue 5 team will be stationed at the Araneta Center Bus Terminal to provide first aid and blood pressure monitoring. Gabay Biyahe stations also offer other services such as free drinking water, calls and electronic device charging made available by the following partners: Araneta Center, Maynilad, One Meralco Foundation, Prudence Foundation and Smart Communications.

Motorists and travelers will also benefit from the tips and helpful reminders to ensure a safe journey through Rescue 5’s “Aksyon sa Kalsada” road safety plugs, which air on TV5, Aksyon TV and
Radyo5 92.3 News FM.

“Since most of our rescue operations involve vehicular accidents, we want to educate our Kapatids on the importance of road safety. Our team of rescuer-journalists is also ready to respond to emergency situations,” TV5 Public Service Head Sherryl Yao said.

Rescue 5 can be reached via its hotline 9225155, Twitter account: @RESCUE5PH, and Facebook page: www.facebook.com/RESCUE5PH.
