25-year-old Trent Harmon has just been declared as the last American Idol beating La’Porsha Renae who was believed by many as the favorite to win.

Before announcing the winner, Ryan Seacrest said:

“I’ve done this 14 times and the atmosphere has never been more emotionally charged than it is tonight.”
