Now on its 10th year, Lifestyle Network and Working Mom Magazine will once again pay tribute to hard-working mothers through a fun-filled family picnic-themed celebration where moms will be treated to a much deserved fun and relaxation at the park.

 Dubbed as “Mother’s Day Picnic,” the event will be open to public and will be held at the UP Sunken Garden on May 15, 2PM with lots of picnic activities and games that families will surely enjoy.

The event will also feature various booths, guest celebrity performances, game zones for the children, and exciting arts and crafts perfect for family bonding. Moms can also avail of free makeovers, massages, and lots of other pampering activities.

The first 150 moms who will register online via the Lifestyle’s Facebook page will be given a special picnic basket filled with exciting treats and giveaways such as awesome ABS-CBN merchandise from ABS-CBN Licensing. Another set of picnic baskets will also be raffled off during the event.

Another reason to be excited about this Sunday is that families that will troop to the event will also get a chance to meet and greet Mommy Min Bernardo and daughter, Teen Queen Kathryn Bernardo! The mother and daughter royalties on the cover of Working Mom Magazine’s Mother’s Day issue is just as wonderful as its inside pages as Mommy Min shares her joys and sacrifices in raising her successful children. The May issue is also packed with amazing activities that moms can do on their special day.

The event will also launch Lifestyle’s newest local shows: “Modern Girls” and the new season of “A Pinch of Portia.”

The hosts of “Modern Girls,” Filipino volleyball player and television host Gretchen Ho, television host and Korean expatriate Sam Oh, and Filipina actress and singer Denise Laurel will also be present at the event to join in the fun with the families. Premiering soon, “Modern Girls” is a new talk show on Lifestyle that covers engaging topics catering to the modern Filipinas.

To complete the ultimate Mother’s Day experience, Portia will also give a cooking demo on a special dish dedicated for mothers. For a revolutionary cooking experience, the cooking demo will feature pretty and efficient cookware from O Shopping. Portia runs Rustic Mornings, a famous comfort food restaurant in Marikina.
