Julie Anne San Jose Celebrates Birthday with the Kids of Virlanie Foundation at DreamPlay
Julie Ann San Jose has come a long way since she joined Eat Bulaga’s “Little Miss Philippines” when she’s only 3 years old and “Popstar Kids” in 2005. Now she’s a multi-platinum and diamond recording artist and has appeared in several TV shows, movies and TV commercials and staged sold-out concerts.
After she turned 22 last May 17, the young Kapuso star known as “Asia’s Pop Sweetheart” decided to give back by spending an afternoon of learning and fun with the kids of Virlanie Foundation (a Non-Government Organization Helping Street Children) at DreamPlay theme park in City of Dreams Manila on Wednesday, May 25, 2016. With the help of GMA Artist Center, Uni-Silver, City of Dreams Manila, and other sponsors, Julie Anne was able to bring back the smile to a group of street kids by celebrating her birthday party with them.
She mingled with the kids while eating gelato and popcorn with them at Chez Gingy.
When the kids requested for a song number, Julie Anne San Jose obliged and sang for them.
In Cooking with Gingy, Julie Anne and the kids learned how to bake a gingerbread man from Gingy himself.
Julie Anne thanked the kids for a wonderful afternoon and distributed her gifts to them before she bid goodbye to attend to her commitments. The kids, and even the bloggers who covered the event, had a great time exploring all the attractions and activities inside the theme park.
