Star Cinema Releases Statement on the Illegal Copies of ‘The Achy Breaky Hearts’ Circulating Online
Star Cinema has released a statement regarding the illegal copies of their latest rom-com movie “The Achy Breaky Hearts” starring Jodi Sta Maria, Ian Veneracion and Richard Yap.

Star Cinema is alarmed by the sharing of links to copies of “The Achy Breaky Hearts” on Facebook while the movie is still being shown on cinemas nationwide.
The unauthorized posting of the movie, whether in full or in parts, on social media is a form of stealing that is prohibited by law
We strongly condemn this criminal act that slowly kills the film industry. We feel for the hundreds of staff and crew who worked so hard behind the camera just to produce a quality film for the enjoyment of moviegoers. We appeal to the public to join us in our crusade against piracy.
If you encounter the illegal links to the film on social media, please do not share it and instead, report it to us by e-mailing report@abs-cbn.com.

It’s not new to me. Minsan nasa Greenhills ako mga less than a year ago siguro during the time a Lizqien movie was showing. May isang tao sa second floor watching a DVD of the movie, at binebenta daw niya. Samantalang pinapalabas pa sa sa sinehan ang pelikula. Tinanong ko pa nga kung d sila natatakot, sabi pa eh hinde daw. Ang tanong, san nila nakukuha ang copy? ciguro sa mga sinehan din, pero clear copy yung nakita ko
