GMA Network is set to premiere the star-studded “Superstar Duets,” a singing showdown of 8 celebrities beginning this Saturday night, September 3, 2016.

Superstar Duets is not a TV franchise from another country, it’s an original concept from the Kapuso Network that aims to combine good music and spontaneous comedy via a weekly singing showdown.

Eight competing celebrities will team-up with “surprise international superstars” every week and they are Mike ‘Pekto’ Nacua, Joross Gamboa, Jerald Napoles, Rita Daniela, Denise Barbacena, Nar Cabico, Divine Grace and Osang.

Hosting this exciting new show is none other than Kapuso Rom-Com Queen, Jennylyn Mercado.

The panel of judges who will share their opinions about the performances of the 8 contestants and how they they jive with their partners are Comedy Bar mogul Allan K, Traffic Diva Aicelle Santos, and Asia’s Romantic Balladeer Christian Bautista.

For the pilot episode this Saturday, find out who will be the singing partner of Celine Dion-esia (Celine Dion impersonator), Zia Later (Sia impersonator), Adellantada (Adele impersonator), Samboy Smith (Sam Smith impersonator), and Justin Tatlongbibe (Justin Bieber impersonator).

Directed by Bert de Leon, Superstar Duets will air every Saturday night after “Magpakailanman.”
