A Filipino mother who wants to start a business to help her family will get a helping hand from KBP Golden Dove Awards Best Public Service Program host Karen Davila this Tuesday (September 6) on “My Puhunan.”

The letter of Shirley Montero, a mother of four, was picked among many letter senders who shared their life stories and dream businesses to the show. Montero, who hails from Taytay, was a frequent attendee in the caravans of “My Puhunan” and DZMM. Wanting to help her ailing husband in providing for their family, she had numerous odd jobs and even worked as an overseas Filipino worker. With just a meager capital, she decided to start her own bag business, using her talent and the knowledge she has gained.
